This is the end result of not keeping your pet's mouth clean. Some of the crowns look "ok" but consider how much infection is on the actual roots, which is where the bacteria shed off into the bloodstream and find new homes in the kidneys and joints and on the heart valves. We helped this dog out by removing these and about 8 other teeth 31 January 11.  He probably feels 100% better with no jaw pain.
