Liz and Dawn at the old clinic

Liz checks the soup of the day. Photo is at our old clinic.

Dr. Fleming received his BS degree in Dairy Science from Clemson University in l973, his Master’s degree in Endocrinology and Biochemistry from the University of Florida in l977, and his DVM from the University of Florida in l981.  After graduation Dr. Fleming served as a base veterinarian for the USAF at K.I. Sawyer AFB in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula where he learned to love snow and cold weather. In l984 Dr. Fleming joined general practice in Palos Heights, Illinois. In l989 he started his own practice and is assisted by his college sweetheart, the former Ms. Connie Kress of Hickory Hills. In l995 Dr. Fleming became a Fellow of the American College of Country Vets (FACCV).
We are very pleased to introduce our new full-time associate, Dr. Rebercca  Osterfund.  Dr. Oosterfund comes to us from California by way of the college of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Wisconsin at Madison.  After graduation Becky practiced for serveral years at a busy small animal clinic in Darien Illinios. She will be a welcome addition indeed!

Drs. Fleming and Osterfund are assisted in the practice by Dawn, Liz, Kathy, Paula, Krystle, Katie, Theresa, Therese, and Lauren.  Lauren actually dumped us for vet school  and comes back occasionally to hang out when she has some time off from her studies in vet school at the University of Illinois. Congratulations Lauren! - just come back someday and help take this place off my hands so I can go bum around in Door County. We will have more staff photos and bios up soon. We're hoping that Therese, a.k.a. Noah, will also be in vet school and soon as she finishes her time at U of I.
